SW Audio Visual Provides Mobile Event Sound and Staging to BC’s Top Athletes as they Compete in the BC Summer Games.

Over 160 local athletes looked for medals in front of family and friends when Kelowna played host to the 2008 B.C. Summer Games.

Athletes from all over the province, about 2,800 strong, converged on Kelowna from July 24 to 27 for the Summer Games; one of the top sporting events on the calendar for young athletes.

This year marks the first year that BMX was included as a sport in the B.C. Summer Games which was held at the Kelowna BMX Track behind the Rutland Arena. In all, 28 events took place. July 24th kicked off with the opening ceremonies at Prospera Place and wrap up on July 27th with the closing ceremonies.
